Launched in September 2013, Tea Time English allows customers to book either cafe or Skype based English lessons. What really sets this company apart from similar ones is the focus that has been placed on each customer's online portal.
Once a customer registers with Tea Time English, they have access to a portal where they can review and listen to MP3 recordings of old lessons and book new ones with ease.
With such an emphasis on each customer's online experience, Tea Time English decided that they needed a custom made CMS which would allow not only their staff to carry out basic tasks such as updating their calendars, uploading lesson MP3 recordings but for customers to be able to interact with them.
I developed a php based CMS which included the functionality that was required and nothing else, ensuring both types of user could get the most out of the site with no confusion.
Tea Time English wanted to make their site as simple as possible so that all aspects of the online portal were as intuitive and clear. With this in mind, I selected a font and layout which would remove any feeling of a cluttered interface and made tasks such as booking new lessons very easy.
A second request was that the new logo for the company should encompass a certain level of 'Britishness', which was hopefully achieved with the bowler hat.
